Full Stack Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend applications using React and Next.js, including component systems, state management, and real-time updates as analysis results stream in
• Build, test, and deploy backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI/Django), powering the guided review workflow, document upload experience, and playground
• Build data models and database schemas (PostgreSQL) for managing documents, analysis runs, findings, and user workspaces — with Redis for caching and job queues
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring solutions to ensure scalability, performance, and security across the stack
• Integrate with the LLM orchestration layer to present structured analysis outputs in an intuitive review interface
• Contribute to infrastructure planning and optimization in cloud environments (AWS), including containerization with Docker and background task processing
• Collaborate directly with the founder on product direction, talking to customers and shaping what we build next

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building modern web applications
• Proven experience with React and Next.js in production environments, with strong TypeScript fundamentals
• Strong backend development skills in Python — experience with FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), and familiarity with Redis for caching, pub/sub, or job queues
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience implementing background workers and task queues (Celery, RQ, or similar) for async processing
• A bias toward shipping — you'd rather deploy something imperfect and learn than over-spec in isolation
• Genuine curiosity about finance, due diligence, or how financial analysts actually work
